The popular holiday resort of Benidorm is firmly establishing itself as a superb golfing holiday destination. With a great selection of golf courses to suit all, as well as a wide range of accommodation and plenty to do off the golf course, Benidorm and the surrounding Costa Blanca area is fast becoming a must visit place for the holidaying golfer.
Benidorm is the main attraction here for those golfers wanting to enjoy the high profile nightlife into the early hours, as well as the delights of the nearby golf courses. For those wanting easy access to the famous Benidorm nightlife then the Servigroup Orange hotel is the place for you. Surrounded by international bars and restaurants, there is everything you need for a lively night out. Benidorm is not all about the nightlife though, there are plenty of shops to visit during the day, and a stroll along the promenade enjoying the spectacular sea views is a pleasant way to spend the day.
Benidorm is about a 45 minute drive from Alicante airport which is serviced extremely well from the UK's airports. Alicante itself, is where you will find the more established golf courses, all are enjoyable to play, maintained to a high standard and the green fees here are much better priced than other, more well known Spanish golf holiday destinations, meaning you get better value for money.
Further South of Alicante you will find the quieter resorts of Torrevieja. This resort is ideal for those golfers wanting a more calmer and relaxed golfing holiday in the Costa Blanca area. We would recommend satying at the Servigroup La Zenia. A superb 4* hotel situated on the cliff top, overlooking the beach. The beaches here are beautiful and not so popular with tourists. Eating out on a night is more of a local and traditional expreience and there are still a few shops and commercial centres in this area for those golfers amongst us wanting some retail therapy.
Murcia airport can also be an option when visiting this area of Spain, meaning there really is no problems in getting here - so what are you waiting for!!?
